High Tech Early College in Denver Public Schools is located in the Montbello area and is part of the Far Northeast school redesign. The staff of HTEC is totally committed to student success and achievement. Our school is built on the belief that every student must be college and career ready. As such, Career and Technical education is a very important part of who we are and what we do at HTEC.

Working in partnership with the Community College of Aurora, we are pleased to be able to offer our students concurrent enrollment in two career pathways, Business and Graphic Design. Our students will begin earning college credit from day-one. Our goal is for HTEC students to graduate with a high school diploma, a solid academic base, and many if not all of the credits necessary for an A.A.S. degree from the Community College.

Students will also learn valuable business and leadership skills through their association with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

HTEC is an AVID school. As such, we have high expectations for our students while providing them with the tools necessary to realize those expectations. AVID learning and study strategies will be used where appropriate within my classes.
